Pickup & inspection — what to expect

The pickup is free
After you see your price, our buying team calls you to agree a slot. Our representative comes to the address you give, on the date and time you chose. There is no pickup fee. Someone authorised to hand over the camera must be present.
Inspection happens in front of you
- Functional check: powers on, shutter and sensor, autofocus, stabilisation, lens elements, ports, battery, screen and viewfinder, plus the accessories you said you have.
- Cosmetic grading: scratches, dents, fungus or haze in a lens, corrosion, missing parts, signs of repair or opening.
- Authenticity: genuine parts. Refurbished, grey-market or third-party parts can lower the price or lead to rejection.
- Any deduction from your online price is explained before you decide. You can say no and keep the camera, free of charge.
The ₹250 pickup-visit charge — the only case it applies
- It never applies when we reject the camera on inspection.
- It never applies when you decline because you disagree with the inspected price.
- It is told to you before you confirm the booking, collected at the visit, and adjusted or refunded if you sell to us on a later visit.
It applies only when you booked a pickup and, with our representative at your door, you decide on your own not to hand over the camera (you no longer want to sell). It covers the cost of the visit.
Payment on the spot
Once you accept the inspected price and hand over the camera you are paid by UPI, bank transfer or cash (whichever our representative offers at the time), to the details you give. You receive a handover acknowledgement recording the item, its noted condition and the final price. Ownership and risk pass to us only at that moment.
Cancelling or rescheduling
- Before a pickup is scheduled: cancel any time, free.
- After scheduling, before the representative arrives: cancel or reschedule free by telling us in advance on WhatsApp or phone.
- At the door, if you decline for your own reasons: the ₹250 charge applies.
- After inspection, if you decline the inspected price: free, no charge.
- After you accept the price and hand over the camera: the sale is final.
