The A58 (2013) is a Sony A-mount camera with the translucent-mirror design: a 20.1-megapixel APS-C sensor, an OLED electronic viewfinder, a tilting screen, 8 frames per second and the large NP-FM500H battery. It was sold in India mostly as a kit with the DT 18-55mm SAM II, often with the DT 55-200mm as a second lens. It is an entry-level body and sits in our lowest price band.
What moves the resale value of a Sony Alpha A58
On a low-value body every original item matters in proportion: the charger and battery keep the most, the box, bill and bag a little. Grade is judged on the translucent mirror (look through the mount with the lens off; dust on the mirror is normal, a scratch is not), the viewfinder, the screen and the grip. Age is the last band for practically every A58.
Lenses usually sold with the Sony Alpha A58
The DT 18-55mm SAM II kit lens, the DT 55-200mm, the Sony 55-300mm and the Tamron 70-300mm are the A-mount lenses in the list for this model. Tick every one you are selling; each is added to the quote from its own row.
How the quote works for this model
Pick the grade, tick the original items, choose the age band and verify your mobile number. The quote shows the body, each lens and the total; the representative checks the mirror and shutter at pickup and pays that amount.
Bodies are priced on their own; every listed lens you tick is added from its own price row. Four grades (Flawless, Good, Average, Below Average), five original items (box, bill, charger, battery, bag) and five age bands, from under four months to more than two years, set the number. Read the guide before you answer.
