The Alpha A3000 (2013) was Sony's lowest-priced E-mount body and looks like a small DSLR: a 20.1-megapixel APS-C sensor, an electronic viewfinder, a fixed 3-inch non-touch screen, 1080p video, a single slot for SD cards or Memory Stick, and the NP-FW50 battery. The K in the name means the kit, sold in India with the 18-55mm OSS zoom. Most A3000Ks come to us as a first camera that was replaced by a phone or by an A6000-series body.
What moves the resale value of a Sony Alpha A3000K
The body is light plastic, so look at the mode dial, the pop-up flash, the eyecup, the card door and the E-mount ring; check that the viewfinder switches on when you raise it and that the kit lens zooms without grinding. In this price band the battery keeps the largest share of the original-item amounts, then the charger, then the box and the bill; the bag keeps the least. Age is asked in five bands counted from the bill date; a 2013 body always falls in the last band, which is a single fixed step.
Lenses usually sold with the Sony Alpha A3000K
The lens list above carries four rows. The E PZ 16-50mm and the E 55-210mm fit the A3000's E mount directly; the DT SAM II 18-55mm and the Tamron 70-300mm are A-mount rows shared across the Sony pages and fit this body only through an LA-EA adapter. The 18-55mm OSS kit lens the A3000K shipped with is not a listed row, so tick My lens is not listed and type its name; the team prices it on the call.
How the quote works for this model
Choose the grade, tick or type the lenses you are selling, tick the original items you still have, pick the age band and verify your mobile number. The quote shows the body line, each listed lens line and the total; the representative checks the sensor, the viewfinder and the mount at pickup and pays that amount when the camera matches your answers.
Bodies are priced on their own; every listed lens you tick is added from its own price row. Four grades (Flawless, Good, Average, Below Average), five original items (box, bill, charger, battery, bag) and five age bands, from under four months to more than two years, set the number. Read the guide before you answer.
Questions sellers ask about the Sony Alpha A3000K
Is the A3000 the same as the A3500?
No. The A3500 from 2014 is the follow-up body with its own row on this site; the two look alike, so read the name on the front plate below the lens before you choose the page.
The viewfinder on my A3000 is dim and the screen has a scratch. Which grade?
A dim but working viewfinder is wear, not a fault, and a scratched screen counts against the grade; pick Average rather than Good and say so on the call so the representative is not surprised at pickup.
