Original box, bill, charger, battery and bag: what to tick
The last question on the quote form is a checklist of five original items. Tick only what you can hand over at pickup, because missing items reduce the price.
The five items, as the form defines them
- Original box — the retail box the camera came in.
- Original bill — purchase invoice with your name.
- Original charger — the charger that came with the camera.
- Original battery — the battery that came with the camera.
- Original bag — camera bag supplied with the kit.
What counts and what does not
- A courier carton or a box from another camera is not the original box.
- The form calls the bill the purchase invoice with your name. If you only have an order email or a card statement, leave this unticked and mention it on the call.
- A third-party charger, or a spare battery bought later, is not the original one. Tick these only for the items that came in the box.
- A bag you bought separately is not the original bag. Only a bag that was part of the kit counts.
Why it matters
Each unticked item lowers the price. Our team checks the items at pickup. A ticked item that is not there is treated as missing and the price is corrected before anything is paid — you are told first, and you can say no.
When no number is shown
In some cases — typically an older camera in Below Average condition with none of the original items — the site does not put a number on screen, because it would not be an honest one. Instead our buyer looks at the camera and tells you the price on the call.
Questions people ask
Do I need the strap or the lens cap?
The form does not ask for them. Bring what you have; they are not part of the price on this site.
What if I find the bill after submitting?
Tell our team on the call. The price is confirmed at pickup, so the items that are actually handed over are what count.
