The EOS 100D (2013) was the smallest DSLR Canon had made when it launched: an 18-megapixel APS-C sensor, DIGIC 5, Hybrid CMOS AF II for live view, a 3-inch touch screen, nine-point autofocus and the small LP-E12 battery shared with the EOS M line. Outside India it was sold as the Rebel SL1. It was usually sold with the EF-S 18-55mm STM kit lens.
What moves the resale value of a Canon 100D
Every 100D is in the last age band now, so grade and original items set the number. Check the touch screen for scratches, the grip rubber, the pop-up flash and the LP-E12 battery, which is small and often replaced by a third-party one; a genuine battery still counts as an original item. In this price band the battery and charger keep the largest share of the original-item amounts.
Lenses usually sold with the Canon 100D
Six Canon lenses are on this page: the EF-S 18-55mm STM kit lens, the EF-S 55-250mm IS STM, the EF 75-300mm, the EF-S 10-18mm IS STM, the 50mm f/1.8 STM and the 24mm f/2.8 STM. Tick every one you are selling; each is added to the quote from its own row at the grade you pick.
How the quote works for this model
Choose the grade, tick each lens, tick the original items, pick the age band and verify your mobile number. The quote lists the body, each lens and the total; the representative checks the shutter and screen at pickup and pays that amount.
Bodies are priced on their own; every listed lens you tick is added from its own price row. Four grades (Flawless, Good, Average, Below Average), five original items (box, bill, charger, battery, bag) and five age bands, from under four months to more than two years, set the number. Read the guide before you answer.
