The M50 (2018) was the first Canon with DIGIC 8 and the first EOS M body with 4K recording and a fully articulating touch screen: a 24.1-megapixel APS-C sensor, Dual Pixel autofocus in Full HD, an electronic viewfinder, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and the small LP-E12 battery. It was sold in India mostly with the EF-M 15-45mm kit lens and became a favourite first camera for YouTubers.
What moves the resale value of a Canon M50 Mirrorless
An M50 is graded on the screen hinge (it takes the most wear on a vlogging body), the mode dial, the hot shoe, the EF-M mount and the grip. Age is the last band for most M50 bodies; the Mark II replaced it in 2020. The LC-E12 charger and a genuine LP-E12 count as original items and are the two items most often missing.
Lenses usually sold with the Canon M50 Mirrorless
The EF-M 15-45mm kit lens leads the list, then the EF 50mm f/1.8 STM (used through the adapter), the EF-M 18-55mm, the EF-M 18-150mm and the EF-EOS M mount adapter. Tick every one you are handing over; each is added to the quote from its own row.
How the quote works for this model
Pick the grade, tick the original items, choose the age band and verify your number. The quote shows the body, each lens and the total; the representative checks the sensor and screen at pickup and pays that amount.
Bodies are priced on their own; every listed lens you tick is added from its own price row. Four grades (Flawless, Good, Average, Below Average), five original items (box, bill, charger, battery, bag) and five age bands, from under four months to more than two years, set the number. Read the guide before you answer.
