For the body in flawless condition with all its original items. Your exact price comes after a few quick questions.

The RX100 VI (2018) swapped the bright short zoom for reach: a fixed ZEISS 24-200mm equivalent f/2.8-4.5 lens on the 20.1-megapixel stacked 1-inch sensor, a touch screen for the first time in the series, 4K video with HLG, 24 frames per second with autofocus, a one-push pop-up OLED viewfinder, a 180-degree flip screen and the NP-BX1 battery. The built-in ND filter of the earlier bodies is gone. RX100 VIs come to us from travellers who wanted one small camera for streets and distant views.

What moves the resale value of a Sony RX100 VI Compact Camera

Grade the RX100 VI as one piece: the front element, the long lens barrel and its cover blades, the control ring, the touch screen and its hinge, the pop-up viewfinder and the base plate. Zoom out to 200mm and back; a little play in the extended barrel is normal, while sticking or grinding is a working fault. This row asks for the grade and the original items you still have, box, bill, charger, battery and bag, but no age band, so the condition you choose does most of the work.

Lenses usually sold with the Sony RX100 VI Compact Camera

There is no lens list on this page because the zoom cannot be removed. A shooting grip, a case, a spare NP-BX1 or a memory card is not a priced row; hand them over at pickup if you wish and mention them on the call.

How the quote works for this model

Pick the grade, tick the original items you still have and verify your mobile number. The quote shows the camera line and the total; the representative checks the lens through the whole zoom range, the sensor, the touch screen and the viewfinder at pickup and pays that amount when the camera matches your answers.

Bodies are priced on their own; every listed lens you tick is added from its own price row. Four grades (Flawless, Good, Average, Below Average), five original items (box, bill, charger, battery, bag) and five age bands, from under four months to more than two years, set the number. Read the guide before you answer.

Questions sellers ask about the Sony RX100 VI Compact Camera

How do I tell the RX100 VI from the RX100 VII?

Both have the 24-200mm lens and look alike. The VII from 2019 has a microphone socket behind a door on the side of the body; the VI has none. The base-plate label reads DSC-RX100M6 on this model. The VII has its own row on this site.

The lens on my RX100 VI wobbles slightly at full zoom. Is that a fault?

A small amount of play in a barrel extended to 200mm is normal for this design and does not change the grade. A barrel that sticks, grinds or shows a lens error on the screen is a working fault, so pick Below Average and say so on the call.
