The PowerShot G7 X Mark III (2019) is Canon's compact for vloggers: a 20.1-megapixel 1-inch stacked sensor, the DIGIC 8 processor, a fixed 24-100mm equivalent f/1.8-2.8 zoom, 4K video, a 3.5mm microphone input, live streaming to YouTube over Wi-Fi, a touch screen that tilts up to face you, USB-C charging and the NB-13L battery. It has no viewfinder and no hot shoe. The model row lists it as a crop-sensor camera; the 1-inch sensor is smaller than the APS-C sensors on the mirrorless pages of this site.
What moves the resale value of a Canon G7X III
The lens is fixed, so grade the G7 X Mark III as one piece: the front element, the lens barrel and its extension, the control ring and the zoom lever, then the screen hinge, the pop-up flash and the base plate. Age is asked in five bands counted from the bill date; bodies under four months lose nothing for age. In this price band the battery keeps the largest share of the original-item amounts, then the charger, then the bill and the box; the bag keeps the least.
Lenses usually sold with the Canon G7X III
There is no lens list on this page because the zoom cannot be removed. A grip, a small tripod or an external microphone are not priced rows and come along with the camera at pickup if you choose to hand them over.
How the quote works for this model
Pick the grade, tick the original items you still have, choose the age band and verify your mobile number. The quote shows the camera line and the total; the representative checks the lens, the sensor and the screen at pickup and pays that amount when the camera matches your answers.
Bodies are priced on their own; every listed lens you tick is added from its own price row. Four grades (Flawless, Good, Average, Below Average), five original items (box, bill, charger, battery, bag) and five age bands, from under four months to more than two years, set the number. Read the guide before you answer.
Questions sellers ask about the Canon G7X III
Is this the Mark II or the Mark III page?
This row is the Mark III, the body with the 3.5mm microphone socket on the side and a USB-C port. The Mark II has a micro-USB port and no microphone input, and has its own row on this site.
The lens on my G7 X III does not extend fully. Which grade is that?
A lens that sticks, stops short or shows an error is a working fault, so the camera cannot be graded Good even when the body is clean; choose Average or Below Average and mention the fault on the call.
