The EOS R1 (2024) is Canon's flagship mirrorless body: a 24.2-megapixel full-frame stacked back-illuminated sensor, the DIGIC X processor paired with the DIGIC Accelerator, an integrated vertical grip, Eye Control autofocus in the viewfinder, two CFexpress Type B slots and the LP-E19 battery. It shoots up to 40 frames per second with the electronic shutter. It is the highest-priced Canon body on this site, and its price band is one where the form does not ask the age.
What moves the resale value of a Canon EOS R1
The form does not ask the age band for the R1, so the grade and the original items decide the number. Grade it on the grip rubber, both shutter buttons, the eyepiece, the card door and the RF mount ring, and check that the Eye Control calibration works. In this band the box keeps the largest share of the original-item amounts, with the bill, charger and battery each keeping the same amount; the bag keeps the least.

Why is there no age question on the EOS R1 page?
Cameras in the top price band on this site are not priced by age. The grade and the original items set the number, and the bill still counts as an original item.
Do you buy the R1 with a CFexpress card and reader?
The quote asks only about the box, bill, charger, battery and bag. A card or reader simply comes with the camera at pickup and is not priced separately.
