The EOS R5 Mark II (2024) is Canon's second-generation high-resolution RF-mount body: a 45-megapixel full-frame stacked sensor, the same megapixel count as the original R5 but built for faster stacked-sensor readout, eye-controlled autofocus and pre-capture shooting. It sits at the top of the RF full-frame range on this site alongside the EOS R3 and R1, and most bodies that reach us are still well within their first year or two.
What moves the resale value of a Canon EOS R5 Mark II
Because this body is this new, almost every R5 Mark II we see is Flawless or Good, and the age band rarely goes past the first one or two brackets - check your bill date rather than guessing. Our buyer checks the RF mount ring for play, the card doors, the rear screen hinge and the sensor for dust at a small aperture; a body carried in a proper bag rather than loose in a backpack usually grades higher. The bill, box, charger, battery and strap each keep a small share of the quote, so track them down before you fill the form.
Lenses usually sold with the Canon EOS R5 Mark II
Sellers usually bring this body with the RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM kit lens, the RF 50mm f/1.8 STM, the RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM, the RF 100-400mm, the RF 24-105mm F4L IS USM or an EF lens on the Canon mount adapter - all listed above and priced from their own row. Tick every lens you are handing over with the body.
How the quote works for this model
Pick the grade, tick each lens you are selling with the body, choose the age band from your purchase date and tick the original items you still have. Verify your mobile number to see the total; our representative checks the sensor, the mount and the card doors at pickup and pays that amount when the camera matches what you described.
Bodies are priced on their own; every listed lens you tick is added from its own price row. Four grades (Flawless, Good, Average, Below Average), five original items (box, bill, charger, battery, bag) and five age bands, from under four months to more than two years, set the number. Read the guide before you answer.
Questions sellers ask about the Canon EOS R5 Mark II
Is the EOS R5 Mark II priced differently from the original EOS R5?
Yes. Each is its own row on this site - the R5 Mark II is the 2024 body, the EOS R5 is the 2020 original - so check the model name shown on this page before you verify your number.
My R5 Mark II is only a few months old. Does the age band matter?
The first four months carry no age deduction at all, so a recent bill date keeps the full value of the grade you picked.
