The EOS 1500D is the camera most sellers bring to us, and for a simple reason: it was the entry DSLR sold in almost every camera shop in India from 2018 onwards. Its 24.1-megapixel APS-C sensor, DIGIC 4+ processor, Wi-Fi with NFC and the EF-S 18-55 kit lens made it the standard first camera. Because so many exist, the price we pay depends less on rarity and more on how well this particular body has been kept.
What moves the resale value of a Canon EOS 1500D
Three things move the value of a 1500D: the body condition (the rubber grip on these bodies lifts at the corners with heat and use, and a scratched rear screen is common), the age band you pick, and how many of the original items you still have. The kit lens is priced on its own, so a clean body with a missing lens still gets a proper number. Bodies bought within the last four months lose nothing for age; older bodies move down one band at a time.
