Sell old Sony HDR-PJ200
We pay up to
For the body in flawless condition with all its original items. Your exact price comes after a few quick questions.
The HDR-PJ200 is the Handycam with a built-in projector on the back of the screen: Full HD recording, a 25x optical zoom, a fold-out touch screen, recording to a memory card and the NP-FV series battery. It is listed in our video camera category and priced as one unit, and for this model the quote does not ask an age question: every PJ200 is well past two years old.
What moves the resale value of a Sony HDR-PJ200
On a camcorder in this band the charger and battery keep the largest share of the item amounts, and the bag keeps more than on most models. Grade is judged on the zoom (extend it fully and back), the screen hinge, the touch response, the projector (it should switch on and show the last clip on a wall) and the battery latch.
Lenses usually sold with the Sony HDR-PJ200
No lens list: the lens is built in. A spare battery, a memory card or a tripod is not part of the online quote; mention them on the call.
How the quote works for this model
Pick the grade, tick the original items you still have and verify your mobile number. The representative tests recording, the zoom and the projector at pickup and pays the quoted amount if the camcorder matches your answers.
Bodies are priced on their own; every listed lens you tick is added from its own price row. Four grades (Flawless, Good, Average, Below Average), five original items (box, bill, charger, battery, bag) and five age bands, from under four months to more than two years, set the number. Read the guide before you answer.
Questions sellers ask about the Sony HDR-PJ200
Why does the PJ200 page not ask how old the camera is?
For this model the price list has no age bands, so the quote goes straight from grade and original items to the number.
The projector on my PJ200 does not switch on. Is the camera still bought?
A fault is priced by our team after inspection, not by the online quote. Mention it on the call so the representative comes prepared.
