For the body in flawless condition with all its original items. Your exact price comes after a few quick questions.
The NX5 is the professional handheld camcorder from the Sony HXR range that wedding and event videographers in India used for years: three 1/3-inch sensors, a 20x zoom, two XLR audio inputs and Full HD recording to memory cards. It is listed in our video camera category, so the quote has no lens step; the lens is built in.
What moves the resale value of a Sony NX5
On a professional camcorder the grade is about the lens barrel, the zoom rocker, the viewfinder eyepiece, the flip-out screen and the XLR sockets, all of which take years of wedding work. Check that the zoom is smooth through the whole range, the hood opens and closes, and the battery latch holds. The original battery and charger are the two items sellers most often lose; each counts as an original item in the quote, as do the box, bill and bag.
Lenses usually sold with the Sony NX5
There is no lens list for the NX5 because the lens is fixed. If you are selling extra batteries, a wide adapter, a shotgun microphone or a flash memory unit with it, mention them on the call; our team accounts for them at pickup rather than in the online quote.
How the quote works for this model
Pick the grade, tick the original items you still have, choose the age band and verify your mobile number. The quote is for the camcorder alone; the representative checks the zoom, recording and audio inputs at pickup and pays the amount if it matches your answers.
Bodies are priced on their own; every listed lens you tick is added from its own price row. Four grades (Flawless, Good, Average, Below Average), five original items (box, bill, charger, battery, bag) and five age bands, from under four months to more than two years, set the number. Read the guide before you answer.

Not in the online quote, which only asks about the original items. Tell the buying team on the call; extras are accounted for at pickup.
