The Alpha 7R V (2022) carries a 60-megapixel full-frame sensor in Sony's E-mount body, with a four-axis tilting screen and an AI-trained autofocus system. On this site it sits between the 61-megapixel A7R IV and the 66.8-megapixel A7R VI, so the megapixel count on the box is the fastest way to tell the three apart.
What moves the resale value of a Sony Alpha 7R V
A sensor this dense shows marks more easily in a crop or a large print, so our buyer checks the sensor for dust and scratches at a small aperture along with the E-mount ring, the card doors and the screen hinge. Keep the body in a case between uses. The bill, box, charger, battery and bag each keep a share of the final number, and age is counted in five bands from your purchase date with no deduction in the first four months.
Lenses usually sold with the Sony Alpha 7R V
Lens rows attached to this page include the Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 Di III VXD G2, and the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 Art, 50mm f/1.4 Art, 85mm f/1.4 Art, 35mm f/1.4 Art and 100-400mm - all E-mount and priced from their own row. A Sony-branded FE lens not yet listed can be typed in and our team prices it on the call.
How the quote works for this model
Pick the grade, tick every lens you are handing over, choose the age band and tick the original items you still have, then verify your mobile number. The quote shows the body and each lens as separate lines; our representative checks the sensor and the mount at pickup and pays the total shown.
Bodies are priced on their own; every listed lens you tick is added from its own price row. Four grades (Flawless, Good, Average, Below Average), five original items (box, bill, charger, battery, bag) and five age bands, from under four months to more than two years, set the number. Questions sellers ask about the Sony Alpha 7R V
How do I know if I have the A7R V and not the A7R IV?
The megapixel count on the spec sticker or in the menu settles it: 60.1 for the A7R V, 61 for the A7R IV. Both are separate rows on this site with their own prices.
Does a scratched LCD screen affect the A7R V quote?
Yes, cosmetic marks on the four-axis screen are part of what our buyer checks at pickup. A hairline scratch that does not affect use is weighed against the grade you picked; a cracked screen should be graded Below Average.
