About this model
| Megapixels | 61.0 |
| Sensor | Full Frame |
The A7CR (2023) is the high-resolution member of Sony's compact full-frame line: a 61-megapixel back-illuminated full-frame sensor in a rangefinder-style body with the viewfinder in the corner, 5-axis in-body stabilisation, a side-opening touch screen, a single UHS-II SD slot and the NP-FZ100 battery. It records 4K video and uses the same E mount as every Alpha body. Sony ships it with a small screw-on grip extension in the box. Sellers who bring us an A7CR are usually landscape, travel or product shooters who wanted A7R-class resolution in the smallest body.
What moves the resale value of a Sony A7CR
A 61-megapixel sensor shows every speck of dust and every fine scratch, so clean it carefully and check it at f/16 before you pick a grade; then look at the screen hinge, the rear dial, the eyecup and the base plate, where the grip extension screws in. In this price band the bill keeps the largest share of the original-item amounts, the box and the battery come next, then the charger; the bag keeps the least. Age is asked in five bands counted from the bill date, and bodies under four months lose nothing for age.
Lenses usually sold with the Sony A7CR
No lens rows are attached to this page yet. If you are selling the A7CR with a Sony FE 28-60mm, a 24-70mm, a 20-70mm f/4 G or any other E-mount lens, tick My lens is not listed, type the lens name, and the team prices it on the call from the same rows used on the other Sony full-frame pages. The grip extension is not a priced row; it travels with the camera at pickup.
How the quote works for this model
Pick the grade honestly, type any lens you are handing over, tick the original items you still have, choose the age band and verify your mobile number. The quote shows the body line and the total; the representative checks the sensor, the mount and the stabiliser at pickup and pays that amount when the camera matches your answers.
Bodies are priced on their own; every listed lens you tick is added from its own price row. Four grades (Flawless, Good, Average, Below Average), five original items (box, bill, charger, battery, bag) and five age bands, from under four months to more than two years, set the number. Read the guide before you answer.
Questions sellers ask about the Sony A7CR
Is this the A7CR or the A7C II page?
This row is the A7CR, the 61-megapixel body with an R in the name on the front plate. The A7C II has a 33-megapixel sensor and its own row on this site; the two look almost identical from the back, so check the name before you choose.
Does a missing grip extension lower the A7CR quote?
No. The five original items the form asks about are the box, bill, charger, battery and bag. The grip extension is not one of them, but bring it along if you have it.
