The ILME-FX6 (2020) is Sony's Cinema Line camcorder-style body built around the 10.2-megapixel full-frame back-illuminated sensor of the A7S III: an E mount, 4K recording up to 120 frames per second, an electronic variable ND filter, fast hybrid autofocus, two card slots that take CFexpress Type A or SD, BP-U series batteries, a detachable top handle with two XLR inputs and an LCD monitor on an arm. It is one of the highest-priced rows on this site, and its price band does not ask the age; the original items question comes straight after the grade.
What moves the resale value of a Sony ILME-FX6
Grade an FX6 on the grip and its rotating joint, the handle mount and XLR sockets, the monitor arm and hinge, the card doors, the ND filter dial and the E mount ring, and check that the variable ND moves through its range without a warning.
