About this model

| Sensor | Full Frame |
| Display | Non-Touch |
| Launched | 2014 |
The A7 II (2014) was the first full-frame camera with five-axis in-body stabilisation. It keeps the 24.3-megapixel sensor of the first A7, adds a bigger grip and a sturdier mount, uses the NP-FW50 battery and records Full HD, not 4K. Because it was the affordable full-frame body for years in India, we still see a steady number of them.
What moves the resale value of a Sony Alpha A7 II Mirrorless
Almost every A7 II is in the last age band, so grade and original items decide the number. Check the stabiliser (a soft rattle with the power off is normal), the sensor for marks, the screen hinge, the grip rubber and the port covers on the left side, which crack on well-used bodies. The original charger and battery count as original items.

How the quote works for this model
Choose the grade, tick the original items, pick the age band and verify your number. The quote shows the body, each lens and the total; our representative checks the stabiliser and sensor at pickup and pays that amount.
Bodies are priced on their own; every listed lens you tick is added from its own price row. Four grades (Flawless, Good, Average, Below Average), five original items (box, bill, charger, battery, bag) and five age bands, from under four months to more than two years, set the number. Read the guide before you answer.
Questions sellers ask about the Sony Alpha A7 II Mirrorless
The port covers on my A7 II are torn. Which grade is that?
Torn or missing port covers are cosmetic wear; with a clean screen and everything working that is usually Average. Pick Good only if the body has light marks and all covers are intact.
Do you buy the A7 II with the 28-70 kit lens?
Yes. The FE 28-70mm is the first row in the lens list for this model. Tick it and it is added to the body price.
