The Sony A7 V (2025) is the newest full-frame E-mount body on this site: a 33-megapixel sensor and Sony's latest autofocus, replacing the long-running A7 IV in the core full-frame line-up. Because it only launched recently, almost every A7 V we are offered today is still within its first purchase year.
What moves the resale value of a Sony A7 V
A body this new almost always grades Flawless or Good unless it has been dropped or heavily used; our buyer checks the E-mount ring, the card doors, the screen hinge and the sensor for dust at a small aperture, the same points checked on every Alpha body. Because the camera is new, the age band will usually carry no deduction at all (the first four months are free) - keep your bill or invoice to confirm the purchase date. The box, bill, charger, battery and bag each keep a share of the final number.

Questions sellers ask about the Sony A7 V
I bought the A7 V only a few weeks ago. Will the age deduction apply?
No. The first four months from your purchase date carry no age deduction at all, so a recent bill keeps the full value of the grade you picked.
Why doesn't the A7 V page show a lens list yet?
It is a newly launched body and lens rows for it have not been added to the price list yet. Type your lens under "My lens is not listed" and our team prices it on the call.
